TFD: Zippies Review

Last week Abby was sent some Zippies to try out. These are new to the market and we have mentioned them a few times so I thought that I would share our experience with you. If you recall, Zippies were kind enough to be one of the sponsors in the Back To School blog hop that I participated in a couple of weeks ago. Zippies are tagged as ‘the pals who hang around’ because you can hang them on everything. The front has a face (all named and you can collect them all) and the back has a place for you to write your name (or mom’s name) and phone number. These are great when you don’t want to permanently label everything.
These are perfect for tagging your kid’s lovies and other toys when you head out to the mall. Also, perfect for travel, school or their sports team bags. One perk that they showcase is that you can slip Zippies around water bottles and drink and really help stop the spread of germs! I showed Abby how to do this and she was all about it. She actually hangs these all over the house and calls them ‘her orange’, ‘her green’ and such. You don’t even have to have a place to actually clip them as there is a cord/toggle type drawstring included for you to cinch it around anything!
So, all in all I think this is a cute and useful product! Now, I wouldn’t jump off the deep end and buy a ton at once. Since they clip on and off you can start with a few and if they become a part of your everyday life then you can buy more for your child (maybe a gift or reward). I also think that these would make cute birthday party favors too!
You can get a 5 pack for $15.95 shipped or the entire first series for $29.95 shipeed on the Zippies WebStore. And an added perk is that they give back to charities including the JDRF right now!
